Both Kia Advntr & Wkndr Concept models showcases company’s off-roading abilities

Kia recently showcased its brand-new adventure-focused concept vehicles at the SEMA 2024. Both concept vehicles are designed to showcase their rugged appeal and off-road capabilities. These concepts models are called, ‘Advntr’ and the ‘Wkndr’, focused on delivering versatility and incredible off-road capabilities. Both models are design to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts who are looking for electrical mobility, camping and adventure in a same vehicle.

Kia’s new Advntr Concept is built upon the new EV9 electric SUV which fits the requirements for overlanding. The Kia Advntr Concept features a new three-inch suspension lift, reinforced rocker panels, and customized front and rear fascias providing improved approach and departure angles.

While specific details are still unknown, we can judge by the images that the new Advntr Concept will offer upgrade new wheels and tires for better agility, grip and to attend rough terrain with ease. It packs a custom roof rack, offering additional space for cargo, and for both standard luggage and specialized rooftop tents.

Kia Wkndr Concept

The new Kia Wkndr Concept is based on Kia’s Purpose-Built Vehicle (PBV) delivery van. It features similar rugged appeal as the Advntr Concept with an unspecified lift and similar wheel and tire configuration. This new concept offers a modular, multi-functional interior called, ‘Swiss Army Knife on wheels” by Kia. It comes with an outboard storage system which is designed to expand the interior space when needed while any outdoor still activity such as parking or camping.

The Wkndr also focuses on company’s eco-friendly innovations by including solar panels and new hydro turbine wheels for better efficiencyy and can recharge the vehicle’s batteries multiple times. The vehicle comes equipped with an onboard compressor that can be used for inflating tires on the trail or as an air mattresses at the campsite. Both feaetures will cater to adventurers wanting a comfortable, sustainable camping experience while keeping the thrill alive.
